Product

The method of processing, called by the authors of the project  “Electrical processing of materials by uninterrupted contact melting” is applied for a patent of invention (Application No. 2008129624 (02/036693) and is at present being considered by FGU FIPS.   

The realization of new technologies and equipment is assigned for reproduction of operational-technological processes, including both separate and combined operations: lathe work, milling, cutting, glazing and honing, which are similar in cinematics of movement and mechanics of processing.  

An analysis of the market

At present the quota of metalwork among technological processes at machine-building companies amounts to 75…80 and more per cent, i.e. it is a prevailing and labor-intensive part of the process of production.

In the sphere of processing equipment the products of such companies as Vibra-Free (Germany), “Okamoto”, “Mazak”, “Mori Seiki”, “Proma”, SGS, “Karloy” are presented at the market.

In the project the new conception is realized of high-production and energy-efficient (economical) processing of modern complex alloy high-test steels, composite materials on their basis and viscous constructional alloys, which are hard and in some cases impossible to process by traditional methods (blade, abrasive, igneous, etc.).  

Industrial approbation of technology and pilot model of the cutting machine has been performed in procuring operations at a number of companies, such as “Agromash Holding” OAO (Moscow), “URAL” (Miass) OAO, “RIAT” OAO Naberezhnye Chelny.
