Results of preliminary studies conducted by the staff of the Federal University of Kazan have shown that a way to solve this problem is to create enzyme preparation of fungal xylanases hydrolizing pentosans of rye, resulting in establishment of "Biotech" company.

Command

Evgeny V. Skvortsov, director of the company.

Scientific advisor - doctor of biological sciences Farida K. Alimova.

Product

The company plans to release enzyme preparation that allows increasing the use of rye in feed of pigs up to 100%. The proposed enzyme preparation of fungal xylanases hydrolyzes the pentosans of rye increasing its nutritional value. The company currently operates in the know-how regime.

An analysis of the market

The leading market participants of enzyme preparations – xylanase- to handle food rye - are foreign companies, such as Novozymes A / S Danisco, Animal Nutrition, DSM Nutritional Products Alltech Inc., BASF - Chemical Company. Among domestic enterprises one should mention "PO" Sibbiofarm " OOO. The target consumer of the proposed enzyme preparation is agriculture, in particular, pig and poultry farming. The potential market size of enzyme "Biotech" for use on factory farms is estimated at 84.6 thou.litres ($ 108.02 K) for the RT and 2.046 thou.litres ($ 2.71 M) for RF.Significant competitive advantages of the product enabled the company to put the price for the enzyme preparation at the level of 1500 rubles. ($ 47.94). Introduction hydrolysis step using the proposed microbial drug produces rye feed product, which for their properties and nutritional value is not worse than wheat feed, but is cheaper.
